03/14/2008 Wilderness First Aid Training Scheduled
If you work, live, or play in remote areas and away from ususal emergency medical service, this course is for you.  This 16 hour course covers urgent first aid techniques with less of an emphasis on CPR.  This is perfect for hikers/backpackers, Scouts and their leaders, farm workers, forest rangers, utility workers, and law enforcement personnel.  You must be 15 years of age and there are no prerequisites.  Check the calendar for dates. 03/11/2008  2008 Hometown Heroes Announced
The Hometown Heroes Campaign is designed as a grass-roots fundraising and awareness partnership between local businesses and the Central Minnesota Chapter of the American Red Cross.  Each HERO is committed to raising $1,000.00 for the local Chapter in fun and exciting ways. 02/19/2008 Updated Spring and Summer Nurses Assistant Training Announced
New courses have been added for classes beginning in July and August.  Nurses Assistants are one of the fastest growing occupations in Central Minnesota and have an excellent forecasted growth rate. 01/22/2008 Services to Armed Forces Program (AFES) Seeking Volunteers
The Central Minnesota Chapter is looking for volunteers for it's AFES Program.
