Current or Upcoming Program Changes
April 12, 2006: New CPR/First Aid Guidelines-Instructors Must Recertify The long awaited guideline changes are here! The Central Minnesota Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer two methods where currently certified instructors can re-certify on these updates. Instructors must take this course prior to December 31st, 2006; however the old method of teaching cannot be taught after September 2006.
The first method is by visiting the National Red Cross web site and completing the online update process. Click here to visit the website and recertify online! The cost is free, but you will need to purchase training materials.
The second method is by Group Orientation. This is a classroom style re-certification process which allows you to interact with the instructor and ask questions. Offered in our new location, this course is $40.00, but includes the instructor training kit! The current dates for this method is:
